The Annual Poke Salad Festival
will be held
May 9th - 10th, 2025
in Blanchard, Louisiana
The Blanchard Poke Salad Festival is incorporating past and present fun activities for all. Come enjoy live entertainment, and numerous activities for kids to name a few.
Parades
As you may already know, one of the highlights of the Poke Salad Festival is the Parade, hosted by Blanchard's own "Lovable" Larry Ryan, which travels through downtown Blanchard on Saturday May 10th, starting at 10:00 AM in front of Blanchard Elementary School. This year our Grand Marshal is Bubba Digilarmo. We always have great participation and creative ideas, sponsored by Poke Salad Festival committee.
All groups, teams, and businesses are invited to participate. Car clubs and any other group or individual wishing to be in the parade are welcome.

Treasure Hunt
The very popular Poke Salad Festival Treasure Hunt returns for 2025!
The $1000 Poke Salad Festival Treasure Hunt (Two $500 prizes!) for May 10, 2025 will begin with clues released at 1:00pm and 5:00pm at the Poke Salad Pavilion. Sponsored by Bill Saddler.
The Children's Treasure Hunt will begin at 12 noon through 5:00pm and the treasure will come to them. Sponsored by Mr. Franklin (Attorney at Law).
Carnival
Carnival provided by Treehouse Party Rentals (Rusty Tullis). Armbands available for each day on Poke Salad Festival grounds for $20.00.

Friday May 9th, 4 pm - 10 pm
Saturday, May 10th, 11 am - 9 pm

Friday May 9, 2025 - Main Pavilion Stage
4:00 PM - Tree House Party Rental entertainment. Arm bands available.
4:00 - 9:00 PM - Karaoke with the famous Nate Guidry, Poke Salad Pavilion
Saturday May 10, 2025 - Main Pavilion Stage
Presented By: Tj Air & Heat
10:30 AM - Bill Smelley & The Monday Night Pickers
12:00 PM - Flashbacks - Shreveport's premiere 9-piece oldies show band brings it's highly acclaimed "At The Hop" show. Take a walk down memory lane with tributes to Elvis, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, and the wonderful doo-wop harmony.
3:00 PM - Ken Ash - Local band with many sounds that will bring out the dance in you.
5:30 PM - "LaRoux & The Kroux" - Blanchard native, Matt LaRoux and the Kroux and a new group based out of Blanchard, LA. comprised of familiar faces from our area. They present some of today's top hits along with some of yesterday's favorites.
8:00 PM - Floyd Grigsby - One of Shreveport's long time great bands presenting progressive rock at it's finest.
